Wishbone BEAMbot

http://POTUS31.comEver since Make Magazine No 6, I've wanted to build a photovore B.E.A.M. robot. I finally found a framework that I liked by using the pewter wishbones at POTUS31 [ http://www.potus31.com ]. The pager motor mounts solder onto the wishbone very easily.This little robot has a personality for sure. It's called a photovore (like Herb-a-vore or carnivore - litterally "eats light" ) because it's 4 transistor brain is constantly trying to aim it's solar panel into the light. The robot, unfortunately, has no self-preservation abilities. It will leap off the desk in search of light just like a moth to a flame.I can custom build these on request if you are interested.
